The bottom features a soft, frosted glass cut into an egg shape with a cherry blossom petal motif, surrounded by a six-leaf chrysanthemum. Flowering paperweight, Kiriko, size The design is not too focused on cherry blossoms, and by combining it with the traditional style of chrysanthemums at the bottom, it does not stray too far from the original, but still retains its traditional feel. The impression I got was of the two chrysanthemums and the cherry blossom suddenly blooming, so I decided to name the style "Blooming." It is finished on frosted glass to evoke the image of cherry blossom petals, and we thought that adding a touch of frosted glass like this would make it look beautiful, so we created a design that met that requirement as well. The tips of the six chrysanthemum leaves are cut to match the corners on the sides, roughly rounded off. In this way, the corners are roughly rounded off and cut about one-third of the way down the side. In addition to cutting into the bottom, we make these 3D cuts not only to improve the design but also to enhance the physical qualities such as the feel.
