**《 Production Method 》**
Made entirely by hand using embroidery thread (6-ply), untwisted strand by strand, and an ultra-fine lace needle.
Approximately 0.2mm wire is crocheted into the petals and leaves.
The wire allows for gentle curves, capturing the characteristic recurved shape of the Katakuri flower's petals.
The pistil and stamens are also crafted with wire and two colors of embroidery thread, enhancing the resemblance to the actual flower.
____
We were meticulous in selecting the embroidery thread colors to capture the delicate hues of the Katakuri flower.
The color of the embroidery thread subtly changes when untwisted into a single strand or during the finishing process.
Therefore, we conducted test knits with multiple threads and carefully selected the color that most closely matched the Katakuri flower upon completion.
The result is a soft and elegant color palette.
As each piece is entirely handmade, every brooch has a unique expression.
Please enjoy the warmth that comes from handcrafted artistry.
**《 About the Katakuri Flower 》**
The Katakuri flower blooms from March to June, with peak viewing typically between March and April.
It is a delicate flower with pale purplish-pink petals that bloom facing downwards.
After blooming in early spring, it disappears from the ground by early summer, waiting underground for the next spring. For this reason, it is also known as the "Fairy of Spring."
* Flower Language:
First Love, Enduring Loneliness
* Birth Flowers:
January 28, March 24, March 25, March 26, April 24
※ Flower language and birth flowers may have various interpretations.
**《 Inspiration for Creation 》**
In the small woodland near my parents' home, there is a colony of Katakuri flowers. As a child, I used to visit them every spring with my mother. The sight of those pale purple flowers spreading amongst the fallen leaves remains a precious memory.
This brooch was born from the desire to capture that remembered landscape in a form that could gently accompany everyday life.

**《 Precautions / Care Instructions 》**
・ Handling:
As this is a delicate lace crochet item, applying strong force may cause it to lose its shape. Gentle handling will allow you to enjoy it for longer.
・ Tips for Wearing Outdoors:
It is prone to losing its shape if compressed by thick coats, etc. When wearing a thick outer layer, it is recommended to attach the brooch to your outerwear, hat, or bag instead.
・ Storage:
Store in a shaped form, away from direct sunlight and humidity.
※ An "Instruction Manual (bookmark)" detailing these points will be enclosed with your artwork. Please review it upon receipt.
