NMH Stamp – Striving to Become History

The wooden handrails, weathered by years of time, bear countless memories of the past, standing as silent witnesses to history and the passage of time. As part of the National Museum of History's 70th anniversary celebration, we have carefully removed these time-worn handrail timbers and transformed them into simple yet meaningful wooden seals. These treasured pieces are paired with the museum’s collection of Yu Youren’s calligraphic work "Record of the Museum’s Founding" (Collection No. 26955). This thoughtful combination not only honors the weight of history but also reflects our hopes for the museum’s future. Let us work together to ensure the continuation of our cultural legacy.
