Material Descriptions: The 14k gold-filled material predominantly used in the mixandfun design studio is created by plating a layer of 1/20 14k gold onto a brass base. This is a popular choice in recent years, known for its ease of care, durability, and long-lasting color. It also offers a more accessible price point compared to solid 14k gold. Solid 14k gold, on the other hand, is entirely 14k gold throughout, with a gold content of approximately 58.5%, supplemented by silver, iron, or copper. Given Taiwan's climate, solid gold requires even less maintenance and presents a more refined color. It is also a suitable option for those with sensitive skin. Custom alloy is another material frequently employed. For this, mixandfun specifically selects unplated chains that we personally favor and then applies a special electroplating process. As a result, under normal wear conditions, the color is quite durable. Wearing Precautions: 1. All jewelry components are designed to be worn after dressing. Upon returning home, please remove your cherished accessories before changing into loungewear. It is not recommended to wear jewelry while bathing, and avoid hot springs and swimming altogether. 2. For earrings, we suggest securing the provided silicone backs to minimize the chance of loss. 3. Taiwan's climate is warm and humid. If jewelry will not be worn for an extended period, it is advisable to gently wipe it with a soft cloth before storing it in a sealed bag. 4. For delicate chains, make it a habit to fasten the clasp when removing them to reduce the likelihood of tangles. 5. A simple care tip: If you notice your jewelry has oxidized, don't worry. Prepare a bowl with a little water, add a pinch of salt, and a small piece of aluminum foil (like the kind used in kitchens). Submerge your solid gold or sterling silver jewelry for about 10 minutes, then remove. It should typically regain its shine. (Material composition may vary slightly between brands.) It's often best to start with less expensive silver pieces for testing. 7.
