Began learning jade carving in Taipei in 1988. Studied advertising design in vocational school in 1993, integrating design concepts into his work. Established his own studio in 1994. 2000: Awarded an honorable mention in the craft category at the 14th Sanying Arts Exhibition for his work "Poised for Action." Participated in a joint jade exhibition at the Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall in August. 2001: Invited to participate in the Hualien International Art Festival's local creation section for live carving demonstrations. 2002: Selected for the "Dream of Craftsmanship" award at the 10th Taiwan Craft Design Competition. Participated in a joint jade exhibition at the Hsinchu County Cultural Affairs Bureau in January. Exhibited jade carvings at the "Flowers and Trees Carnival" in Changhua County in May.
