Full cowhide insole No sockliner The cowhide insole and cowhide outsole are stitched together with waxed thread. The insole and heel are reinforced with steel nails. Footwear with full cowhide soles can feel stiff initially. It typically takes about 7-10 days of wear for the leather to absorb moisture and adapt to the shape of your foot. Over time, unique footprints will form on the leather insole, and it will become increasingly soft. After the shoes are washed, due to variations in leather shrinkage, there may be slight differences in the shaft's circumference, height, and softness. This is characteristic of the washing process and not a defect. It is an unavoidable aspect of the craftsmanship. As you wear the shoes, the leather will gradually conform to your leg shape and return to its original dimensions. Therefore, there is no need for excessive concern. During the washing process, the shoes are soaked, tumbled, and impacted, which creates various marks. These are the unpredictable, charming details that result from the washing technique. Furthermore, natural leather may exhibit unavoidable imperfections such as scratches, scars, and vein marks. These "flaws" often become apparent later in the production process (after multiple dyeing and oil-tanning stages). They are an inherent characteristic of natural leather and we kindly ask for your understanding. If you are not accustomed to the feel of a full cowhide sole, consider wearing insoles initially. The cowhide sole will gradually adapt to your foot shape, becoming increasingly flexible and conforming. **Foot Length Measurement** Place paper on the floor. Stand with both feet on the paper and mark the tip of your toes and the back of your heel. Measure the straight-line distance between these two points. **Foot Girth Measurement** Use a soft measuring tape to wrap around the widest part of your foot, including its thickness. Please note that the inside of the shoe is a three-dimensional space. This measurement is not just the width of your foot, but the overall girth including the thickness of your sole.
