Gently rub with laundry detergent. If stained with makeup, use a makeup remover to gently wipe away some of the stain first, then wash with detergent. (Do not use bleach.) If machine washing, please place the headband in a laundry bag before washing. The material is pure cotton fabric, which "wrinkles easily." After de-watering or wringing, be sure to "shake out, flatten, and air dry." (Avoid direct sunlight, as it can be detrimental to cotton fibers.) * If the fabric is very wrinkled, you can place a thin piece of cotton fabric on top of the headband and iron it flat with a 100-degree iron.
