Little Books of Specimens - Freeze Dry

This is a project on which I collaborated with the Grant Museum of Zoology for my MA Illustration course, the purpose of which is to promote the museum. My goal is to let the audience know that making the specimen actually requires very specialized skills. I chose specimens made from five different techniques from the museum, and used sequences of images to introduce how they were created, to reduce the fear of the specimen that most people have, so that they might start to be interested in samples and in the museum.
