The Czech Republic, a renowned center for glassmaking, boasts the traditional "High Enamel" technique, a decorative painting method applied to fine tableware since the 17th century. Perhaps the Habsburgs, a royal family with deep ties to the land that is now the Czech Republic, also cherished porcelain adorned with such painted motifs during their lavish banquets. You may have encountered similar depictions of flowers, rendered with a slightly raised texture, often accompanied by opulent gold accents, on vases or wine glasses. We have managed to acquire beads that have been specially decorated with this remarkable technique. Due to the small surface area and the highly curved nature of the beads, the application of this detailed painting demands exceptionally high levels of craftsmanship. The subtle variations in the design on each individual bead are a testament to their hand-painted origins. With a wish that the artistry behind these exquisite beads continues to flourish, we are releasing this unique piece so that as many people as possible may experience its beauty. A grand bloom flourishes atop a deep amethyst hue. The colors of the flower differ on the front and back of each bead, displaying a rich burgundy red on one side and a serene nemophila blue on the other. We have used two of these luxurious beads to create this long necklace. The transparent beads that trail alongside are in a light amethyst shade, their delicate and ephemeral tones evoking poignant memories. In stark contrast to the deep purple centerpiece, the nearly colorless cut beads leave a powerful impression of sparkle, captivating the gaze of all who behold them. A soft, muted purple gently embraces the dominant deep violet. This necklace is designed to make you, the wearer, the true star. Its generous length of approximately 106cm (including clasp) is particularly suited for those with a taller stature. The toggle clasp is set in an antique silver finish that avoids excessive shine, while the lobster clasp and other metal components, such as wire and chainmail decorations, are in a classic silver tone.
