Embroidered patches are commonly known as fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidered emblems. However, most traditional embroidered patches require ironing to adhere securely to fabric or to cover holes. Our embroidered patches feature a strong adhesive backing that doesn't require ironing. They can be applied to smooth, non-fabric surfaces, making them ideal as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more. Get creative and make your items uniquely yours! 🏷 How do I use an embroidered patch? Using our embroidered patches is simple! ▪️ For smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing needed, and they stay put! ▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C (300°F). Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery threads from high heat and iron for 20-25 seconds. Allow it to cool completely for a secure bond. For extra durability, we recommend reinforcing with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing it on with a sewing machine or by hand will also ensure it stays firmly attached! 🏷 What if the fabric cannot be ironed or I'm unsure if it can be ironed? For materials that cannot withstand heat (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabrics) or if you are uncertain about heat sensitivity, we recommend sewing the patch on with a sewing machine or by hand to secure it, preventing heat damage to your items. 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will it fall off easily? Our embroidered patches have a sufficient adhesive strength for general non-fabric smooth surfaces, making them resistant to peeling. If applying to fabric (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), ironing and sewing are recommended for enhanced durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches come off after washing? Once ironed and reinforced with sewing, the embroidered patches can withstand machine washing without easily coming off. We suggest washing them inside out in a laundry bag for best results. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive backing on our embroidered patches is designed for single use and cannot be reapplied. We advise confirming your desired placement before application. If you remove the patch and wish to reuse it, the fabric surface can still be sewn onto fabric items for decoration. 🏷 Will there be any adhesive residue after removing the patch? Due to the strong adhesive, some residue may remain after removal. This can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive solvents. Please test the remover on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it's suitable for your item's surface and won't cause damage. Avoid using a hairdryer to remove residue, as heat can melt the adhesive, making it stickier and more difficult to remove.
