West Asian Vajra Three-Eyed Offering Bead (Diameter 4.38 cm)

Excavated artifact. Subterranean ancient bead. Classified under the West Asian bead lineage (Myanmar, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc.). Rhombus-shaped Vajra eye pattern. Features subterranean characteristics such as fish-scale patterns, ice-crackle patterns, leather patterns, and agate iridescence. Maximum diameter of the bead is 4.38 cm. In 2019, a batch of ancient beads was acquired from antique dealers in the New Taipei area for 30,000. This large offering bead was the most expensive item among all the ancient beads. It has been kept in the Buddhist altar for over 5 years. Recently, a large collection of old Buddha statues from Myanmar pagodas and Dharani beads was acquired. Due to limited display space, some collection items must be released.
