While the undyed ecru is soothing, we also embrace the vibrancy of a colorful world. Driven by our commitment to environmental consciousness, we discovered Japanese mineral dyeing in 2020. This method allows us to achieve a diverse palette of colors in a highly eco-friendly manner, with excellent colorfastness. We began experimenting with colors on our undyed cotton garments, finding immense joy and inspiration. Venturing beyond our familiar shores, we immersed ourselves in Thailand's vast and creative landscape. This multicultural environment, akin to a United Nations, allowed us to connect with people from diverse backgrounds through shared environmental concerns. It was then we realized the remarkable progress Taiwan had made in environmentalism, often leading the world. Thailand, too, was making strides, actively promoting eco-friendly fashion through the development of unbleached and undyed clothing, recognizing that the dyeing industry is the world's second-largest polluter. Just as people are encouraged to eat whole foods in their natural state, we wondered if people had considered the "original form" of cotton clothing.
