Each piece of naturally tumbled and softened vegetable-tanned cowhide develops a unique, natural leather grain that follows the hide's texture. Its color deepens over time with exposure to use, sunlight, and air. For example, brown may transform into a caramel hue. * As this leather is not coated with artificial finishes, natural characteristics such as "scars" from playful interactions, "insect bites" from mosquitoes, and "growth lines" from variations in diet are inherent. We will "do our best to avoid" these minor imperfections during production, provided they do not affect usability. However, some small variations may be unavoidable.
