Scented Paper Garden Workshop
Paper flower craftsmanship boasts a history of over 260 years, dating back to the Qianlong era of the Qing Dynasty in 1741. Paper flowers were widely used in various Buddhist rituals and for palace decorations, symbolizing aspirations for peace and prosperity. The Buddhist paper flower ritual, listed as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009, was designated as a Gyeonggi-do Intangible Cultural Heritage in South Korea in 2017.
Paper flower craftsmanship carries memories of rituals, blessings, and culture. Today, we bring it back to life, creating new scenery in our daily lives.
The ICAD Scented Paper Garden course is an elegant journey where fragrance meets paper art.
We combine natural pigment dyeing, handcrafted paper cutting, and fragrance to create your unique scented paper flower creations.
Course Content:
• Paper Flower Shaping Techniques | Bringing flowers to life
• Scent Infusion | Fragrance in every corner of your life
Course Creations:
1. Flower Bouquet Diffuser Stick x1 (Anemone)
2. Choose one: 100ml Fragrance Mist or Diffuser Bottle
Suitable for beginners, the finished product can be used as a scented home decor item 🤍

Small Class Sizes: 1-on-1 / 1-on-4 (Classes can be booked for as few as 1 person)
Class Duration: Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes
In-Person Class Location: Taipei Area
Online Classes: Via video conferencing software

- Workshop participants cannot be publicly provided with perfume ratios or calculation formulas; these are only taught in certification courses.

• Please avoid wearing perfume or scented products on the day of the class. Do not eat, drink, or smoke (odors can affect scent perception).
• The class involves extensive smelling and contact with fragrances and essential oils. It is not recommended for individuals with "serious illnesses" or who are "pregnant."
• After payment, please contact us to schedule your class date. (If you need to change your class date, please notify us at least 5 days prior to the event. Date changes are limited to one instance.)
• Refunds can be requested up to seven days before the class begins. The refund will be subject to deduction of the cost of purchased materials and supplies, as well as bank transfer fees. Please be mindful of this.
• No refunds will be issued for any reason after the class has started. Please consider carefully before registering.
• The institution reserves the right to make the final decision. In the event of any dispute arising from a refund request, the institution reserves the right to refuse any refund application and the final decision. Please be aware of this.
• To protect and respect the instructor's intellectual property rights, photography, audio recording, and video recording by non-staff members are prohibited in any form. However, students may photograph their own creations.
• Please refrain from behaviors that may cause discomfort or constitute harassment to other students.
• Invoices are not provided for this course.
• For experience workshops, formulas will not be publicly disclosed.
• Perfume containers may vary.
|Online Classes|
• For online video classes, upon successful registration, the instructor will send you a video conferencing link before the class begins.
• Please download the required teaching software and ensure a stable internet connection before the class starts.
• The teaching content for online video classes is not compromised. We will mail you a material kit before the class begins.
• Please be punctual for your scheduled online session. Feel free to ask any questions; the instructor will provide answers for a seamless learning experience!
|How to Receive Your Material Kit|
• Courier or Convenience Store Pickup: The kit will be sent to the default shipping address you provided in the registration form or on the Pinkoi system. Please ensure your shipping address is correct!
• Material kit preparation takes approximately 7 days. Due to recent uncertainties related to the pandemic, delivery times are subject to actual logistics arrangements.
• The course price includes the shipping fee for the material kit. Some equipment items need to be self-provided.
