This is a generously sized mug, coated with a lustrous white glaze all over, and finished with a deep lapis lazuli glaze around the rim. The amber-colored glaze, applied as an accent to the rim, melts and flows with the lapis lazuli glaze, adding subtle green nuances here and there. Therefore, I generally apply a waterproofing treatment to all pottery before it is sent to you. Ceramics that have undergone this treatment do not require initial waterproofing at home. You can use them immediately after a light wash upon arrival. Items that have already been treated will be shipped within 3 days.
