**◈ A Word from the Designer**
**Sodalite** is renowned for its distinctive **Royal Blue** hue. Most pieces feature a blue base with intergrown greyish-white calcite. Those with a deep blue color and intergrown red or yellow (pyrite) veins or patches are exceptionally rare.
The designer has meticulously selected two **blue-toned** gemstones – **Sodalite** (for blessings and prosperity) and **Blue Moonstone** (representing the spiritual third eye) – to create this exquisite blue beauty.
The **Sodalite** has been expertly cut and shaped into faceted beads and slices, each showcasing the classic **Royal Blue**. The color is pure and vibrant, with a delicate balance of white and gold hues, and fine, lustrous textures. It appears at times as deep as the **ocean**, and at others, as classic as **blue-and-white porcelain**, uniquely beautiful.
Echoing the blue and white textures of sodalite, the bracelet is adorned with white K gold diamond accents. The main pendant features a **Blue Moonstone** shaped into a **peanut (symbolizing good things happening)** and a **spider (representing contentment)**, making it a must-have for any sodalite enthusiast.^^
**This is a one-of-a-kind piece, awaiting its owner of wealth and wisdom.^^**
**Sodalite**
Sodalite, named after its sodium content, was discovered on the island of Greenland in 1811. Its chemical composition is sodium aluminum silicate, belonging to the sodalite group.
In 1891, sodalite was found by Lake Ontario in Canada. At that time, Princess Margaret of Britain visited Canada and was so fond of sodalite that she had 130 tons shipped to decorate her London residence, Marlborough House. Consequently, Canadian sodalite became known in the industry as "Princess Blue."
While sodalite minerals come in various colors, sodalite is famous for its blue variety. It also features intergrown textures or patches of white-grey, yellow-green, and pink. The yellow is typically pyrite, and the white is calcite.
Sodalite corresponds to the brow chakra and throat chakra, aiding in enhancing communication abilities.
It is believed that sodalite brings wisdom and sparks inspiration, making it suitable for creators (such as writers and artists). It strengthens intuitive inspiration and promotes spiritual awareness. Additionally, it helps enhance concentration and judgment, improving learning ability, thus earning it the name "Gemstone of Wisdom" and "Poet's Stone."
In ancient Egyptian times, sodalite was considered a "talisman to ward off evil," possessing protective qualities, balancing emotions, and aiding sleep, hence also known as the "Stone of Peaceful Sleep."
**Blue Moonstone**
Moonstone possesses a warm, moist, and delicate texture with a dreamy and elegant luminescence. It belongs to the feldspar family of gemstones, along with sunstone and amazonite, all exhibiting a silk-like radiance and charming iridescence akin to moonlight or sunlight, hence also known as sunstone.
Ancient Romans believed that moonstone was formed from moonlight, and through it, one could see the moon goddess Diana. In ancient India, moonstone symbolized the third eye, enhancing spiritual understanding and purifying the mind.

**◈ On Usage and Collection**
1. Natural gemstones possess their inherent luster and unique textures (such as tiny black spots, stone lines, ice cracks, clouds, mineral inclusions, and asymmetries). With frequent wear, you may observe subtle color changes in natural gemstones, often becoming more translucent and captivating – this is also the best form of maintenance.
Natural organic gemstones (like coral and amber) have low hardness and are sensitive to acids and alkalis. If soiled, avoid using detergents; simply rinse with water and wipe with a soft cloth. You can also use a soft brush with a small amount of mineral oil (like baby oil) for gentle care.
2. Metal jewelry has a long lifespan, provided it is protected from external force or strong acids and alkalis that may cause discoloration.
3. Fabric materials (ribbons, cotton, gauze) are soft and comfortable to the touch and have a long lifespan, provided they are kept away from high temperatures, external force, or strong acids and alkalis that may cause discoloration.
4. For any jewelry material, when soiled, it is advisable to wipe it with a soft cloth dampened with water, or use an appropriate amount of neutral detergent for suitable materials. After washing, ensure it is dried promptly.
5. When removed, jewelry should be carefully stored in packaging to minimize air exposure, slowing down oxidation and discoloration, and avoid stacking or pressing.
