USA 1973 Paula Our Working Schedule Resin Figurine Released by Paula (C.M. Paula Company) in the USA, a renowned greeting card and gift manufacturer based in Ohio at the time. In the late 1960s and 1970s, these figurines, known as Paula Statues or Sillisculpts, were very popular in the United States. They were often placed on desks, bookshelves, or given as novelty gifts. The base is inscribed with the model number W-330 and "Made in USA." What's particularly amusing is that a closer look reveals the schedule on the plaque is a witty satire on "time thieves" at work! Starting Time is 8:00 AM. After just one hour, it's immediately followed by a Morning Coffee Break from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM – a two-and-a-half-hour break after only an hour of work! Next comes the Lunch Hour from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, a full two-hour lunch break! After just half an hour of work, it leads into an Afternoon Coffee Break of two and a half hours, and finally, Quitting Hour at 5:00 PM.
