Utilizing the extreme natural temperature differences between day and night in the plateau regions of Nepal and Kashmir, wool is processed through a meticulous sequence of soaking, boiling, and drying over several consecutive days. This technique is commonly found in handmade scarves and shawls from Nepal and Kashmir. Each piece bears delicate embroidery and handcrafted marks, making them impossible to replicate exactly. They are truly unique works of art. Through this process, the wool fibers naturally felt and intertwine more tightly, while impurities are removed. This results in a finished product that is: • Thick and full • Tightly structured, resistant to deformation • Exceptionally warm • Less prone to shrinking • Plush to the touch, with a unique crispness ✦ Washing and Care Instructions (Please Read Carefully) Boiled wool is a specialty craft material. Proper care will ensure the wool's structure and texture are maintained for a long time. Please follow these care instructions: ✔ Use cold water or warm water below 30°C (86°F) ✔ Use a neutral, mild detergent ✔ Soak and wash gently, do not rub ✔ A gentle cycle on a washing machine can be used ⚠️ Please note the following: • Do not use hot water • Avoid vigorous rubbing or stretching • Do not use alkaline detergents • Always use a laundry bag when washing in a machine • If washing with few items in the machine, select a "gentle/delicate cycle" to prevent deformation from strong agitation The key is to: 👉 Avoid sudden temperature changes 👉 Avoid harsh friction 👉 Avoid strong pulling
