When olive wood products are cleaned for the first few times, a light yellowish-brown natural substance or maintenance oil may be rinsed/wiped out. This is a natural phenomenon, so please use it with confidence. 3. When cleaning, rinse with warm or cold water and use soft cleaning tools; after cleaning, wipe off any remaining moisture and place in a ventilated place to dry naturally before storing. 4. If the product has a fishy smell, you can scrub it with cold water and white vinegar, then rinse it clean. 5. If there is a concern about staining (for example, steak), you can use baking soda water to scrub it, and then wipe the stained area with a rag or brush. 6. Do not expose to direct sunlight or place in a humid environment or an environment with rapid temperature changes. 7. Do not put it in the dishwasher, dishwasher or oven. 8. Q: Why is the color completely different after I wash and dry it after using it for the first time? A: Of course it will be different! Each wash will remove the maintenance oil, so the color will not be the original beeswax color. Restoring the color is quite simple. In addition to the recommended monthly maintenance, you can apply a thin layer of maintenance oil after the product is dry to maintain its color. Q: Can an olive wood chopping board be used to chop large amounts of meat and fish? A: Of course you can! Just use it the same way as you would a traditional dip board! Q: Does olive wood have an expiration date? A: A properly cared-for piece of olive wood can last for decades. It won't fall apart if unjointed, and it won't peel if unpainted.
