When exposed to sunlight, its color transforms from yellow to green and emits a fragrance, hence its name "Jade Sandalwood." It grows in regions with extreme climates, experiencing temperatures ranging from below freezing to 40°C depending on the season. Currently a rare material, it faces endangerment and is subject to export restrictions by Paraguay. When working with Green Sandalwood for demonic blades, its considerable weight often necessitates intentional hollowing to manage the balance and achieve a more ergonomic feel. Its extreme hardness also makes processing slower and more demanding on tools. If left out of sunlight for extended periods, the color will revert from green to yellow. However, a mere 20 minutes in the sun can restore its vibrant green hue. Should you become the owner of this blade, you may occasionally polish the edge with a fine-grit white paper for a subtle sheen.
