This is an SDGs jewelry with kintsugi, upcycled from Arita ware. We reuse pottery that is broken, chipped, or no longer in use, and by applying kintsugi, we transform it into accessories. Our concept is to make nature and Japan's enduring traditions accessible, and to give new life and possibilities to modern accessories that connect to the future. We have adorned elegant pottery fragments, where floral and leaf patterns subtly appear, with freshwater pearls and citrine. Kintsugi is applied to the sides of the pottery fragments, allowing the gold to shine from the side and exude a sense of refinement. The included chain is an allergy-friendly surgical stainless steel chain with 18K coating, making it resistant to tarnishing and gentle on the skin. The chain length is 40cm + 5cm adjuster. This work uses a modern, simplified kintsugi technique. Unlike traditional lacquer made from tree sap, we use new lacquer, which is less likely to cause rashes, and gold powder (brass powder).
