Ribbon is a tender representation of hard metal; it is visually neutral with a hint of tenderness, as the iron components stretch out like ribbons. In contrast to its soft visual design, the sturdy structure allows Ribbon to be used as a side table or stool; the three-legged design showcases flexible variations with no directionality. It is not just a side table, it will bring occasional visual surprises to everyday life. We believe that wonderful furniture, in addition to looks, must also be durable and easy to maintain; therefore, we choose to use “white iron (stainless steel),” which is toxic- and hazard-free and can be fully recycled, as the main material. We also hope to play a part in the transition of old factories in Taipei through design integration, in order to better satisfy customers’ everyday needs.
