Washi tapes are opaque. 3/ PET tapes feature white ink, making them less prone to show through compared to washi tapes. 4/ PET tapes offer a degree of water resistance, whereas washi tapes are not waterproof. 5/ The special oil effect on PET tapes appears generally brighter, while the same effect on washi tapes has a richer, more layered feel.
