The mermaid silhouette flares toward the hem, with gathered ruffles adding movement. The original jeans pockets, belt loops, and hardware are preserved as part of the new design. ▶ Craftsmanship Nearly all panels are carefully finished on the reverse side — corners rounded and serged. This step is often skipped in denim rework, but it's essential for comfort and durability. 26 panels were arranged, finished on the back, then reassembled and sewn again.
