This is a delicate necklace strung with icicle-shaped kyanite, abundant Indian silver bells, blue-green agate, indigo blue beads & herkimer diamonds, and fine cylindrical silver beads. At the top, we've featured an icicle-shaped kyanite. Its appeal lies in its sparse coloring with a decadent atmosphere. A slightly pale blue-green, with hints of blue visible within. (Size of icicle kyanite: 3.8cm length, 0.8cm width) Next to the icicle kyanite, small Indian silver bells are clustered like ripe fruit. While they don't ring, the gentle clinking as they touch creates a delicate sound. Round blue-green agates are connected to create a beautiful gradient. The transparent beads are double-terminated herkimer diamonds. Indigo blue Indian Pacific beads are scattered throughout. These are antique beads known as Indian Pacific beads. The origin of Indian Pacific beads is said to be the 2nd century BC. These particular beads are excavated artifacts from Indonesia, dating back to around the 10th century – over 1000 years old! Very fine and delicate silver beads have been strung together. They are approximately 1mm in width and cylindrical in shape. They shimmer and sparkle depending on how the light hits them. Small Karen silver beads, adorned with a floral motif, are placed between the cylindrical silver beads. The clasp and round beads are also Karen silver. ◇ Karen Silver ◇ This silver is crafted by a hill tribe living in the Thai-Burmese border region.
