Vase

This wheel thrown vase was made in my small pottery workshop here in Taiwan. My workshop overlooks the Yamingshan mountain which are a constant source of inspiration. This pot was made from local Taiwanese clay and then a traditional Japanese glaze called oribe was applied. An oribe is typically a green color. This glaze also has tinges of blue. I glazed only parts of this vase to expose the original clay body. My seal is stamped at the base of this vase. Be the owner of a handmade vase made from the beautiful island of Taiwan.
