Over more than two hundred years of history, the shawl manufactory has developed a unique Pavlovo Posad school of shawl design, thanks to which traditions are preserved and the skills of artists are honed. It is with the drawing (crochet) that work on each new product begins, and its further fate depends on how correctly the compositional solution and color scheme are chosen.
All prepared pieces are reviewed and approved by the Artistic Council, to whose meetings honored artists of the enterprise and representatives of the Artistic Expert Council of the Moscow Region for Folk Arts are invited.
A characteristic feature of our craft is the collective work to bring the artist’s original plan to life.
Each drawing is printed in several color options.
Depending on the complexity of the design, various methods of applying the design to the fabric are used. Printing is carried out on tables with printing carriages and on multicolor printing machines. The most critical operations are performed manually. A lot of them need to be done in order for a Pavlovo Posad scarf, unique in its qualities, to be born! With a unique design, environmentally friendly and comfortable to wear!
The technology of making scarves combines a careful attitude to artistic traditions with the use of the latest achievements of scientific and technical thought. Printed patterns are prepared using a unique direct engraving machine that deposits beads of molten wax onto the surface of a photoemulsion-coated mesh.
