Introducing "cube," the second work in fofo lab's PLUZ series! This is a three-dimensional sculptural piece crafted by assembling specially designed and processed cypress wood boards. The process of exploring and assembling these boards as a spatial puzzle is filled with the joy of challenge and discovery. The finished form presents a different three-dimensional impression depending on the viewing angle, and from certain perspectives, the front of the cube (the square face) can be clearly seen. Like unique architecture, irregularly intersecting wooden boards stand like walls inside, creating various spaces. With its rich sculptural expression and structural spatial language, this three-dimensional work is versatile for various living scenes, not only as an indoor art object but also as an educational toy or a plaything for parents and children. Materials and Specifications - Materials Used: Cypress solid wood (approx. 6mm thick) for the unit parts, and laminated wood (approx. 15mm thick) for the base. - Processing: High-precision CNC cutting, followed by manual polishing and adjustment. - Surface Finish: Coated with a clear paint derived from natural ingredients (compliant with European toy safety standard EN71). We can also accommodate requests for no paint finish, though the price remains the same. - Size and Number of Parts: This cube measures approximately 18cm long x 18cm wide x 18cm high. Repairs and Part Changes - If the product is damaged during assembly or deteriorates due to long-term use, we offer free maintenance services (some exceptions may apply depending on the content). - You can also consult us about special requests such as re-creating lost parts or adding name engraving (please feel free to message us). - Customers are responsible for shipping costs related to maintenance.
