It retains the unique marks of the cow's life, such as scars, insect bites, growth lines, and veins – these are not defects. Minor indentations or scratches that may occur during processing, shipping, or crafting are considered normal if they do not damage the leather surface. In respect for the material and its natural origins, we do not (and cannot) avoid these characteristics entirely, except for major flaws.
