Nowadays, colors can be enhanced through strong acid immersion or laser etching, making lower-quality jadeite appear similar to high-end pieces. Jadeite in the market is typically identified by the letters A, B, and C to distinguish its quality: - Grade A Jadeite: Natural jadeite, untreated. - Grade B Jadeite: Bleached and resin-infused jadeite, which has undergone strong acid cleaning and resin infusion. - Grade C Jadeite: Dyed jadeite, which has been artificially colored. Only Grade A jadeite is genuine; all others are artificially treated. 💖 Care Instructions 💖 - If not worn for an extended period, store in a moisture-proof bag to minimize air exposure. - Each piece of jewelry should be stored separately to prevent scratches from friction. Chain necklaces should be fastened before storing in a moisture-proof bag to avoid tangling. - Sterling Silver: Polish with a silver polishing cloth. - Gold-Plated/Filled Material: Wipe with a cotton cloth (do not use silver cleaner). - Jadeite: Use a soft, fine toothbrush with clean water to gently brush the jadeite. Rinse with water and dry with a cotton cloth or allow to air dry in a ventilated area. It is advisable to remove all jewelry when visiting hot springs or swimming in the sea. It's also recommended to remove jewelry when bathing. Avoid contact with chemical products to prevent oxidation and fading. - It's best to apply sunscreen and perfume *before* putting on jewelry. - All jewelry is handmade and designed with care.
