[Author Biography] Tak Wing-yuen In 2021, she was invited by the Korean government for a scholarship (GKS) to pursue Korean Studies (Master's degree) at Pusan National University Graduate School. Currently residing in Busan, she is actively involved in various Korean cultural observation and research projects. Over the past eight years, she has traveled extensively across Korea, interviewing locals and immersing herself in both traditional and contemporary Korean culture. Engaging with Koreans of all ages has provided her with unique perspectives and a deep understanding of Korean culture. She has participated in over a hundred lectures hosted by organizations such as the Korea Tourism Organization, primary and secondary schools, tertiary institutions, and private and public enterprises, covering topics like Korean travel, Korean culture, the Korean language, and Korean business culture. She shares her observations on Korean culture through media outlets and has authored several books on the travel and culture of various Korean cities. In 2019, she was appointed an Honorary Ambassador for Daegu by the Daegu Metropolitan Government.
