【Gentle Reminders】
*Pure tin should still be kept away from strong acids and alkalis (such as bathroom cleaners) to prevent product degradation.
*Pure tin will slowly oxidize in the air, causing its color to deepen over time (much slower than silver or copper). Regular wiping and polishing are usually sufficient. You can also use "muzei grass" (available at Chinese herbal stores) mixed with dish soap to gently scrub the tin surface, restoring its luster. However, oxidation cannot be completely removed. After cleaning, try to keep the item dry and avoid leaving it in standing water, as this can easily lead to oxidation.
*Due to their uncoated design, pure tin items will naturally change in color with time and handling. The workshop suggests that playing with the item by hand is the best way to care for it. Minor traces of age, unless causing severe deformation or functional damage, are part of its unique aesthetic charm (the transition from bright to dull is a normal oxidation process; frequent handling allows natural oils to adhere, reducing oxidation). Please consider this before purchasing.
【Shop Policies】
*The color of product images may vary slightly due to differences in computer monitor settings (brightness, color saturation). The actual product color is the definitive standard.
*Handcrafted items will have slight variations and will not be 100% identical.
*As this is a custom-made handicraft, returns or exchanges are not accepted, except for genuine issues requiring repair. (If there are any issues upon receipt, please contact us within 2 days of delivery and return the item with original packaging within 5 days. We will process it promptly.) The online photos represent the complete product, and each side of the shipped item is photographed for record. Additionally, the surface of the tin sheet itself, as cast, may exhibit characteristics like "chicken claw marks" or minor pores (non-penetrating). If you prefer a surface as smooth as stainless steel, please do not place an order. You are also welcome to visit the HANDICRAFT POEMS metalcraft studio in Tainan for in-person selection. Appointments are recommended.
*Customized products, including those with personalized engravings or made to specific dimensions, are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
Unless the product is not made according to the previously agreed-upon specifications, any modifications requested for other reasons will incur round-trip shipping and modification fees.
*This website reserves the right to accept or decline orders (to prevent credit card fraud).
*All series of works on this website are in the process of new design patent applications. Any replication of related styling, product designs, or patterns is strictly prohibited and will be prosecuted according to law. Thank you.
