This class will guide you through fundamental pottery techniques. Feel free to discuss your specific creative needs with the instructor, who will tailor the lesson to the piece you wish to create. ▶ Hand-building Class: If you wish to glaze your piece yourself, a minimum of two sessions is required. For a single session, the instructor will handle the glazing. For more complex creations, please message us beforehand to inquire about the number of sessions needed.
▶ Wheel-throwing Class: To learn trimming and glazing yourself, at least three sessions are recommended. For a single session, the instructor will perform the trimming and glazing.
▶ Due to the intricate nature of pottery making, the process from greenware to finished, fired piece takes approximately 4-6 weeks. You will be notified upon completion, and you can choose to pick up your work from the studio or have it mailed.

◎ Registration is required at least one day in advance.
◎ Cancellations must be made before 9:00 PM the day before your scheduled class. Cancellations made on the same day will only be eligible for rescheduling, not refunds.
◎ It is recommended to trim your fingernails before class for easier handling.
◎ Please wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty, or use the provided communal aprons.
◎ The class fee does not include the kiln firing cost. This will be calculated on-site based on the dimensions of your creation.
Calculation method: Length x Width x Height x 0.1.
◎ Due to the complex process of pottery making, it takes approximately 4-6 weeks for a piece to be completed from greenware to firing. You will be notified upon completion, and you can choose to pick up your work from the studio or have it mailed (shipping costs will be borne by the participant).
◎ Unforeseen effects may occur during the firing process due to the nature of handmade items, glaze characteristics, and non-human factors such as kiln temperature, ambient temperature, and piece placement.
◎ Inherent risks such as cracks or damage during firing due to excessively thin clay bodies or fragile details are borne by the participant. The studio is not liable for compensation in such cases.
◎ If damage to your piece occurs due to an oversight by the studio, the instructor will create a similar piece as compensation. The studio is not liable for compensation for damage caused by non-human factors.
