Rinse with cold water after removal to wash away surface bloodstains. 2. Apply hand wash liquid, baking soda, or a mild detergent to the stained area and soak for over three hours. The water level should be slightly above the pad. 3. Once bloodstains are removed, simply wash with detergent and air dry (in the bathroom or a well-ventilated indoor area, occasionally placing in sunlight for disinfection). Ensure it is completely dry before storing. 4. Soaking again with baking soda or sodium percarbonate can remove the yellowing and does not affect usability. • For leak-proof styles, avoid wringing. You can absorb excess water with a towel and then air dry to extend its lifespan. Also, avoid using soaps containing glycerin, as residues on the waterproof layer, when exposed to sunlight, may cause it to become brittle and damaged.
