【LAI HAO】Ka-Tsi Style- The Classic Bag

Ka-Tsi bag is a traditional bag often seen in Taiwan's family or local market. Ka-Tsi bag is made of nylon and the basic pattern is composed of red, blue and green stripes. The pattern was once (maybe even now) considered by many as local (in Taiwan, the word "local" 本土 is often cognized in a negative connotation) and not in fashion. However, in recent years, more and more people started to utilize the pattern in a higher level. For example, it was once used as the main visual representation in Taiwan's national day in 2017. Lai Hao takes advantage of Ka Tsi's original pattern and develops multiple geometrical varieties. By doing that, we intended to combine the pattern with modern design and revive different possibilities of "Local Taiwan Style". Innovation doesn't suggest the abandonment of tradition, even though challenge always lies ahead in the process.
