We strive to avoid these during the crafting process. │Leather Characteristics│ • Natural variations in color depth between batches are to be expected. Vegetable-tanned leather also deepens in color with use, developing a richer, caramel hue over time. • Like human skin, natural leather has pores. It will absorb moisture upon contact with water, and faint watermarks may appear after air-drying, which is a natural phenomenon. The finished product is treated with maintenance oil to minimize the effects of moisture and stains. • Avoid prolonged immersion in water. If the leather becomes wet, allow it to air dry in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight. • Light surface dirt can be gently wiped away with a clean cotton cloth. Deep oil stains are difficult to remove and will naturally fade over time; therefore, handle with care and embrace the journey! │Leather Dyeing│ • This series retains the distinctive brushstroke effect of hand-dyeing.
