Yao belt bird button indigo dyed tassels birds flying in the forest at night

I made a wool hat inspired by the image of "a bird flying away from the forest at night". The hat is dyed to form a gradation from black to indigo from the brim to the crown. The belt is made from hand-knitted and hand-embroidered cotton used in the national costume of the Vietnamese Yao tribe. The main character attached to the hat, the bird button, is made of buffalo horn. To create the feeling of birds flying, I torn the indigo-dyed cloth into a decorative one.
