It was the pinnacle of ceramic artistry during the Song Dynasty. Master Ye's Ru porcelain has an appropriate iron content and controlled reduction, resulting in a body that appears greyish-tan. The glaze shifts between sky blue and powder blue under different light sources, creating a sense of fusion between the clay and the glaze. The crackles on the glaze are as delicate as fish scales, gradually deepening with contact from tea, enhancing its润泽 (moist luster).
