The threads, initially undyed, are then colored into various shades before being woven. Its sheer, translucent quality and softly crinkled texture lend a light, airy feel that drapes gently against the body. The warp threads were set wide, with tightly twisted silk yarns woven in at regular intervals. This creates a vertical texture, allowing the scarf to be finished as a manageable narrow width. The plaid border, crafted with three colors of linen yarn, gains depth through the textured weave, resulting in a refreshing design. The ultra-fine ramie linen yarn, half the thickness of standard linen used for handweaving, is characterized by its minimal fuzziness and subtle sheen. With a fine density of 512 warp threads, the scarf achieves an exceptionally supple texture.
