Began learning jade carving in Taipei in 1988. Studied advertising design in vocational high school in 1993, integrating design concepts into his work. Established his own studio in 1994. 2000: Awarded an honorable mention in the craft category at the 14th Nanying Arts Exhibition for "Waiting for the Moment." Participated in a jade exhibition at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in August. 2001: Invited to carve live at the Hualien International Art Festival's local creation section. 2002: Selected for the 10th Taiwan Craft Design Competition, "Dream of Craft," in January. Participated in a jade exhibition at the Hsinchu County Cultural Affairs Bureau. In May, exhibited at the "Flowers and Trees Carnival" in Changhua County, featuring a joint exhibition of stone carving and jade.
