We carved this horse from a ash wood with woodcarving chisels. The hair pin was painted different oil stains. Toned in brown shades.
We covered the hair fork with friendly shellac coating . Shellac as wood finish is natural and non-toxic in its pure form. A finish made of shellac is UV-resistant.
To store this hairpin, we sewed a bag made of cotton fabric.
