The design prioritizes the interplay of colors, while the dyeing process focuses on the evolution of shades, resulting in a sophisticated, natural color quality. This piece showcases a dyeing technique involving segmented tie-dyeing and multiple rounds of overdying. For each color applied, the dye-resist method is used by tying sections to preserve the existing color. This process of repeated untying and re-dyeing allows for the creation of rich color variations.
