The item you receive will be identical to the one pictured. To ensure your table surfaces are protected, the base of the bowl has been carefully sanded. I continuously explore new combinations of glazes and clays, creating a diverse range of pottery in various colors and forms. To address this, all our pottery undergoes a waterproofing treatment using a food-safe sealant before shipping, eliminating the need for initial "seasoning" (mezame). This treatment requires 2-3 days, hence our shipping timeframe of 5 days from order placement. If you prefer not to have this treatment applied, please notify us at the time of purchase. - Cutlery shown in product images is not included. - Product images are edited to be as true to the actual item as possible. However, colors may appear differently depending on your monitor settings and lighting conditions.
