Material Description: The extensively used 14K gold-filled material in the mixandfun design studio is made by plating a layer of 1/20 14K gold onto a brass base. This is a popular material in recent years, known for being easy to care for, maintaining its color for a longer period, and being more affordable than pure K gold. Pure 14K gold material means the entire piece is made of 14K gold, with a gold content of approximately 58.5%, and the remainder being silver, iron, or copper. Considering Taiwan's climate, this material requires even less maintenance and offers a more refined color. It's also a great option for those with sensitive skin. Specially plated alloy is another material I frequently use. mixandfun meticulously selects preferred unplated chains and applies a special plating process, ensuring the color remains vibrant under normal wear. Wearing Precautions: 1. Always wear your accessories after dressing and remove them before changing into loungewear. It is not recommended to wear them while bathing, especially in hot springs or swimming pools. 2. For earrings, it is advisable to use the provided silicone stoppers to minimize the risk of loss. 3. Given Taiwan's warm and humid climate, if accessories are not worn for an extended period, gently wipe them with a soft cloth before storing them in a sealed bag. 4. For delicate chains, make it a habit to clasp them when removing them to reduce the chance of tangling. 5. Over time, 14K gold-filled, pure 14K gold, or specially plated alloy items will show signs of wear. Your understanding is appreciated. 6. A little-known maintenance tip: If you notice your jewelry has oxidized, don't panic. Fill a bowl with water, add a pinch of salt, and a small piece of aluminum foil.
