We've added original embroidery to a simple trapezoid-shaped pouch. Perfect as a makeup bag, a stationery case, or for organizing the inside of your handbag. But where is the rabbit going? This way? That way! Wandering around and around... ...They ended up cycling all the way around Lake Biwa! - - - - - ◎ Poitcose and India In Aisho Town, Shiga Prefecture, where our shop is located, many foreign nationals work. Among them were Barrack, an Indian engineer, and Wei, a Vietnamese national. We learned that cotton cultivation has a long history in India, boasting one of the world's top production volumes! Barrack wanted to share Indian culture with Japan, and Poitcose creates embroidered accessories. In 2023, we began working together to develop products using Indian cotton. With Barrack's help, we connected with a sewing factory in India. Despite struggling with unfamiliar English communication and cultural differences, we tackled the challenges together! After numerous meetings via video call and email, our Indian cotton items were created. The Indian cotton series features items custom-made at an Indian sewing factory, with each piece then individually embroidered in our Shiga studio. We hope you will enjoy the natural texture of Indian cotton, which is soft yet has a substantial thickness, paired with our subtly humorous and unique embroidery. Materials: Body...
