Avoid applying leather oil directly to the leather to prevent uneven coloration. 2. Suede/Horsehair Leather: Avoid wiping with water or a damp cloth, and do not use leather oil, as this can damage the nap. Gently brush with a soft brush following the grain. It is recommended to use a suede-specific waterproofing spray before use. 3. Patent Leather: Gently wipe with a dry cloth or use a dedicated patent leather wax. Note 1: Leather may darken temporarily after applying leather oil; this is normal and the color will lighten over time. Note 2: If leather becomes damp, first pat it dry with a dry cloth, allow it to air dry, and then apply leather oil for maintenance.
