The release liner makes cutting and applying designs easier and more convenient, preventing stickers from sticking to your scissors. ◆ Design Story ◆ This is an updated version of our "Lotus" washi tape from several years ago, hence its designation as the second generation. Initially, a 100cm repeat seemed sufficient, but as the design evolved, it unexpectedly expanded to an unprecedented 200cm repeat >w< The original lotus tape was designed to create a reflective pond effect through symmetrical flipping. During the redesign, I wanted to retain this characteristic. By utilizing the transparency of PET, I incorporated blue watercolor washes to represent the pond water. Then, by taking upside-down lotus flowers and overlaying half with transparent blue washes and placing the other half onto the water section, a convincing reflection effect is achieved. The colors used in this iteration have a higher saturation, making even simple placements incredibly vibrant~ In addition to the illustrations, I've added floral meanings and text related to lotuses as accents (truthfully, I was running low on text elements myself XD). With just a few flowers and a touch of text, your journal can instantly feel much more artistic!
