Porcelain is a highly artistic yet practical craft. Using specialized tools and decorative techniques like decal transfers and enameling, you can freely paint and design on pristine white porcelain. Simply adhere decals with various patterns to create your exclusive piece, much like applying stickers. With approximately 3,000 decal designs to choose from, you can select and combine them to craft a truly one-of-a-kind artwork. Over 150 designs are available to choose from in our studio. Beyond the basic and enjoyable method of using decals, incorporating hand-painting and enameling techniques can lead to an infinite array of exquisitely refined ceramic creations. The best part is that even those who lack confidence in drawing or are complete beginners can try this with peace of mind, as the designs are created by cutting and applying a wide selection of pre-designed decals. Moreover, the finished products are so flawless, it’s hard to believe they were handmade. Pieces created and fired using Japanese decals meet safety standards, allowing for everyday use with confidence. The patterns are permanent and will not fade. **[White Porcelain]** Pure white porcelain achieved by applying a clear glaze over a pure white ceramic body. The body is slightly translucent and absorbs very little water, producing a high-pitched metallic sound when tapped. It is characterized by excellent adhesion with decals and vibrant colors. Beyond tableware, it extends to stylish items for interior decoration, accessories, and more, offering a rich variety. **[Japanese Decals]** Paper pre-printed with patterns or designs. These can be applied to white porcelain like stickers, enabling even those not skilled in drawing to create exquisite works. While "sticker" might evoke a cheap impression, decals are the authentic method used for high-end tableware brands. The quality of the finished product is assured! **[Tools]** Tools such as cutters, deburring tools, and tweezers are used. **Workshop Flow:** In this introductory workshop, you will learn the basic techniques of porcelain decoration. Once you've chosen what you'd like to create, you can select decal patterns and combine them to make your own unique piece.
