The origin of Magatama is back to the paleolithic age, since then Magatama is the Japanese traditional charm passed down from generation to generation. It is often made of gemstones such as jade, agate, and quartz. The unique shape is told that has the power against evils. The hole is the eye that glare at the evils, the shape seems the opened mouth is the jaw that bite the evils, and the tapered tip is the tail that repel the evils.
