"Qi Jia Cuo" is a homophone for "starting a family" (起家), with the navel (脐) symbolizing the origin of life. After graduating from art and design graduate programs, we chose to remain in the countryside of Tainan. From a rented old-fashioned bungalow, we began to realize our dream: to think with our hands. Through the process of crafting, we internalize our shared enthusiasm and ideas for metalwork into our creations, conveying a yearning for an ideal life and the warmth of everyday living to the world.
